The great Rudolph Caracciola won the 1939 German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in the Mercedes Benz W154. He completed 22 laps of the 14 mile circuit in a time of 4hrs 8mins. That's the equivalent of nearly three Grand Prix today. Here he is depicted leading the Maserati 8CTF of Paul Pietsch that would finish third. This is a Giclee edition of just 50 copies.
