Alberto Ascari driving the Lancia-Ferrari D5O at the 1955 Monaco Grand Prix. After qualifying in second place, Ascari inherited the lead when both the Mercedes of Fangio and Moss retired. The lead was short lived as on lap 80 Ascari misjudged the chicane and launched the D50 into the harnour. This was to be the great Italians final race as he was to die whilst testing a Ferrari sportscar at Monza just four days later. When your times up, it really is up. This is a Giclee edition of just 50 copies.
