The Alfa Romeo T33/TT/3 of Hezemans and de Adamich powers through the village of Campofelice closely followed by the Ferrari 312PB of eventual winners Merzario and Munari. The Autodelta factory Alfa team sent four works cars to take on the single Ferrari entry, but in truth were just not quite quick enough. This car was to finish 3rd, with the sister car of Galli and Marko finishing second.
